Intel Architecture processor support packages for DAS and TLA logic analyzers are time-saving debug and analysis tools for designers using Intel Architecture microprocessors. They provide a simple connection to your target system for real-time monitoring of instruction execution and event timing. These products, with a DAS or TLA, allow designers to monitor all processor activity and display it in many useful formats.
These support packages provide a simple connection to your target system for real-time monitoring of instruction execution and event timing. The trace memory depths of up to 2M samples of the TLA and DAS permit capturing both the symptom and cause of complex problems. Trace data is analyzed to show actual execution and branch behavior and displayed in a variety of useful disassembly formats, rather that just disassembly of pre-fetched instructions. You can choose to display only subroutine call and returns, all taken branches, only executed instructions, or all by cycles.
These products also add the functionality of deep real-time trace and hardware breakpoints to popular software debuggers. Symbols can be easily extracted from popular object formats and transferred over the network.
